Raise your hand if you got a DSLR for your blog, but had no idea how to use it in the beginning. Yep, me too. I’m pretty much self-taught when it comes to my camera, and it has greatly improved the quality of my blog and general family (and dog) photos. When Idakoos.com contacted me asking for a review of one of their shirts, I searched their site and immediately loved this simple camera design in honor of me figuring out how the heck to use mine.

Women t-shirt cuts are usually too small and awkwardly proportioned, especially for my apple shape. I was initially worried about how this shirt would fit in the women’s version (men’s t-shirts 4 lyfe), but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. The sleeves are fitted and not too short, it’s made of a soft, thick material and it’s long enough. Seriously, that is usually my biggest problem with tops. I have a long torso and short legs. Why.

The website has so many options for t-shirt designs, that it may be overwhelming at first. I chose a few keywords I was interested in and spent quite a bit of time scrolling through. But once I found a design I liked, I was impressed by the customization options. I highly recommend this site for anyone who is interested in designing custom shirts for their school clubs or sports teams, or for those who like collecting quirky, well-made shirts.

Idakoos is international! Check out their UK site and Canada site.

Happy shopping, fellow t-shirt nerds.

  • I wish I had a DSLR! The problem is that my boyfriend takes my photos and he has no interest in learning how to use cameras. I know my current point-and-shoot could take better photos if only he cared to play around with it just a little bit. Do you take your own with a tripod? That might be me someday so I actually get the photo quality I want, haha.

    • I understand the boyfriend struggle completely, which is why I started using a tripod with a remote and self-timer. It takes a while to get used to it, and you feel silly the first few times you try taking your own photos, but I’ve gotten to the point where shoots take maybe 20 minutes. I highly recommend investing in a DSLR, even though you already have such nice, visually interesting photos!

      • Oh that’s awesome! Your pictures look fantastic. I’m working on a rebrand/site design of sorts right now but a DSLR is next on my list. 🙂 Thank you so much for saying that, though! Thank goodness for Photoshop Elements (though I wish I knew how to use that better, too! Haha–blogging is such a learning experience).

  • You look fantastic! This shirt is so cute. I like the camera design and the plaid shoes add a great touch to your overall look. I have to catch up on your posts cause I was sick this past week. xo Bry CherryBlossoms&PixieDust.Naughty&Nice
