Summer solstice

I was dying in this. I had no idea how humid it would be but Houston did not disappoint. Forever thankful that black conceals the river that became my armpits.

The filter hides my suffering.

This whole outfit is an example of how personal tastes can change. I never thought I would ever wear jeggings, a peplum top or leopard print, but here they all are on my body. I think I’ll be old and in a wheelchair before I give up wearing American Eagle jeans. They’re so damn comfortable.

Keep it real.

  • For Vanity’s Sake

Lol so funny! I haven’t worn jeans in a while and I used to live in them. I gained some weight and my old skinnies barely fit. Maybe I should get some jeggings..hmm

    • I almost didn’t buy jeggings because A. They have a stupid name and B. Skinny jeans were so uncomfortable. These have so much stretch and are lightweight enough to wear for summer. They’re also pretty damn affordable at AE.

  • I can imagine how hot you were in the outfit, though your skin looks lovely! It’s lovely though that you wore all those items you thought you wouldn’t and look great in them, and they look great together. 🙂

I have a very difficult time with jeans and rarely wear leggings outside but love them so I think I’d like like jeggings because of the stretchiness but added thickness/security over leggings. I also hate the name!
