My boyfriend and I helped rescue a dog that had been abandoned at my apartments yesterday. The chilly air reminds me that there are so many animals out there who are homeless and suffer during the cold months. I’m happy we were able to help this puppy find a home, but I am disgusted by those who are able to turn their back on an innocent animal. I hope I can help more of them in the future, but for now I am spoiling my Westie and letting him know that he will be loved until the day he is no longer with us.
Like most kids, I made some questionable style choices that I thought looked so good at the time. From headbands that would fall down the back of my head and give the illusion of pigtails to undershirts with holes and safety pins in them, I was a hot mess.
To accommodate my prepubescent beer belly, I would only button one button on a shirt, right beneath my boobs. I thought this made me look skinny and laid back. You know, as all 12-year-old girls should want to look.
But here I am, two buttons done up. This basically means I’m an adult now.
Both the tank and shirt are super thin and light, so they paired well with a thick pair of legging pants and booties. As long as the upper half of my body is cool, I don’t have the urge to dump a cooler full of ice on myself and cry in a swimming pool. I hate summer.
I have the writing/filming bug again. I’ve been eyeing my YouTube channel wanting to make something of it and I think I’ve figured out a plan. I don’t want to share too much just in case I get lazy again it doesn’t work out, but I’m excited about my creative endeavors.
As a Dauntless member, I would maintain my femininity with blouses and jewelry. Legging-like pants would allow me to maneuver and climb when needed. My symbol is the star because, well, I already have one tattooed on me so hey, convenience.
Which faction would you be in? What would your style be?
Today is the last day to enter my Divergent makeup kit giveaway. The winner will be notified and announced Wednesday. Good luck.
This purse opens really wide to give the illusion of it being capable of holding school books and other impossibly large objects. I love taking it to concerts because I have managed to fit shirts and other merch inside it. It’s every bit as magical as it looks.
