A few posts ago I mentioned that I was a new user of the shopping app Depop, but I have redirected my allegiance to Poshmark, which is quite similar but a bit more sophisticated in my opinion. I have sold three items from my “closet” during its first month, and I am really enjoying packaging my clothes and sending them off to new homes.
Buuuuuuut I have also been shopping on the app. I justify my purchases by reminding myself that these are great deals and I am earning my money back whenever I make a sale. The Zara Trafaluc dress in these photos was a total steal for only $13. I also bought a new pair of leather Aldo flats for $20. I mean c’mon. I feel like I am just picking things out of people’s closets and leaving a tip.
I make sure to only post and sell my nicest, gently worn items, and have received 5 stars and positive reviews on all my purchases. I highly recommend selling your own items on the app if you would like to earn back some cash on clothes you don’t wear anymore. It’s such a great way to clean out your closet
and make room for fall clothes.
