A crappy poem about pants

What is this crease in the middle of my gut?
Tis a mark from where the pants cut.
Along the middle, through the thighs
This woven material is my demise.

Can’t walk, legs constricted
Tapered cut, ankles evicted.

I want to like you, pants, I really do
But when it comes to basic life activities, what’s a girl to do?
You’re stiff, expensive, can’t be washed every day and more
I just had to throw away two pairs recently that tore.

This is my last pair, but not for a while

uh

If I had a son, his name wouldn’t be Kyle…

But look, I wore you today
You’re still incorporated into my wardrobe no matter what I say.

I like cranberry/maroon shades because they look nice against my stupid Mexican skin. But now my wardrobe looks like a cherry pie took a dump on my hangers.

But seriously, can you spot the difference? I can’t.

Maybe I will dress up as a green bean casserole for my next post. Be sure to hit that Bloglovin’ button to stay tuned for my riveting content.

Saturday.

I am convinced that my legs do not react to extreme temperatures. They do not get cold in the winter and they were completely unperturbed by the jeggings and booties I decided to slouch around in today. However, my upper body is sweat central.

“Any visitors to this site probably don’t want to read about your sweaty summer self anymore, Leah.”

I just can’t stop complaining about the heat. It’s a sickness.

I thought about this:

I wish I had started driving sooner than two months ago.
I have more in common with a soon thirteen year-old than most adults.
My dog eats healthier than I do.
Beer tastes so good on a Saturday night.
Sometimes the best things in life aren’t free. Like my imminent life in Germany.

Captured

Raise your hand if you got a DSLR for your blog, but had no idea how to use it in the beginning. Yep, me too. I’m pretty much self-taught when it comes to my camera, and it has greatly improved the quality of my blog and general family (and dog) photos. When Idakoos.com contacted me asking for a review of one of their shirts, I searched their site and immediately loved this simple camera design in honor of me figuring out how the heck to use mine.

Women t-shirt cuts are usually too small and awkwardly proportioned, especially for my apple shape. I was initially worried about how this shirt would fit in the women’s version (men’s t-shirts 4 lyfe), but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. The sleeves are fitted and not too short, it’s made of a soft, thick material and it’s long enough. Seriously, that is usually my biggest problem with tops. I have a long torso and short legs. Why.

The website has so many options for t-shirt designs, that it may be overwhelming at first. I chose a few keywords I was interested in and spent quite a bit of time scrolling through. But once I found a design I liked, I was impressed by the customization options. I highly recommend this site for anyone who is interested in designing custom shirts for their school clubs or sports teams, or for those who like collecting quirky, well-made shirts.

Idakoos is international! Check out their UK site and Canada site.

Happy shopping, fellow t-shirt nerds.
