Yes, hi, hello, this is my favorite skirt that I own. I’ve seen this style of skirt pop up on a lot of trendy websites lately. It’s such a simple piece to pair with almost anything so I understand the allure. This is my attempt at mixing stripes and texture. It’s subtle enough, so it’s a start.

I need more pairs of heels in my life.

It’s Friday!

  • I love the way you seamlessly pulled all the colours together here in harmony, even the necklace is perfectly suited so you have a good highlight near the top of your outfit and the perfect finish with the shoes.

I appreciate the use of texture and print/lines, not only are the colours working well together you’ve illustrated that horizontal stripes are an excellent and dare I say feminine print for skirts in that they accentuate the lower half of the hourglass – very clever and I’ll have to remember that! I do love the fabric of the blouse, great for warmer weather 🙂

Thank you for appreciating the details that go in to my outfit planning. I don’t usually wear too much, but I am conscious of how I pair. I love feminine shapes and women with my frame typically avoid striped bottoms, but I embraced it. Houston gets very hot so a light fabric blend like gauze and cotton is ideal for my climate. Thanks!
