Today’s makeup

If I stumbled upon a magic lamp and a giant shirtless genie wearing better accessories than me offered three wishes, I can guarantee that one of them would be for my lipstick to last on my lips.

This beautiful color from Covergirl lasted my commute to work and halfway through breakfast, but its pigment was shed all over my fork and the back of a sandpaper napkin by the time I was done. And who left the tube at home? Me. I did.

This isn’t all I wore on my face, but I am in desperate need of a new foundation and powder that I just decided to leave my basics out.

What is your makeup faux pas? Do you have any solutions for my lipstick problem?

I like to blot and then reapply a few time in the morning. I find that this helps sort of ‘stain’ my lips. But honestly, I tend to skip lipstick a lot since my fiance hates it.

    • I’ve seen videos of vloggers using the apply/blot/reapply method and never tried it because it seemed like it made the color a little too permanent. A stain would be nice. My lips just need to look like they don’t belong on a corpse at the end of the day. Thanks!
